“Rasa is a Sanskrit word that means ‘essence, juice, taste, nectar and fulfillment of the soul.’ Rasa Yoga is a soulful fusion of asana, mantra, mudra, myth, pranayama, meditation, functional anatomy, Tantric yoga philosophy, shadow work, and soul alchemy.” (from the Rasa Yoga website)
Ganesha is the Lord of Wisdom and of New Beginnings, the Remover of Obstacles, and also the Placer of Obstacles. Through the power of myth and the stories of Ganesha, and the practices of mudra, mantra, asana, and pranayama, we can begin to shift perspective to see obstacles as opportunities, as ways in which to expand and grow ourselves.
In our asana practice, we’ll open up through our shoulders and hamstrings, and find ourselves in some standing balance play!
Please have a strap, block/s, and a blanket (or anything that substitutes for these).
